Book Reviews of Night Probe!Book Review: One of his best Summary: 5 Stars
I hadn't read this book in years and I'd forgotten how good it was. The humor of Pitt is first class. The suspense is excellent. If you like action-adventure novels that are well constructed, be sure to read it.
Book Review: One of his best nail biters Summary: 5 Stars
This plot is almost believeable. I have read all of Cussler's books, this one I have re-read several times, it never fails to entertain me. I feel the early Dirk Pitt novels are best, especially Night Probe and Vixen 03.
Book Review: One of the best Dirk Pitt books. Summary: 4 Stars
Tighter than most, with a broadly sweeping storyline and good use of globe-spanning action. Combine this with a not so subtle tongue in cheek use of (not James Bond!), and it's a thoroughly enjoyable read, perfect for those cross-country flights.
Book Review: Read 6 Pitt adventures this was the First ( exquisite!) Summary: 5 Stars
Was given this book for my birthday in April and read 5 more in rapid succession after it. But "Night Probe" was, by far, the most intriguing, believable and riveting of the lot so far.
Book Review: Still on Top Summary: 5 Stars
In the last decade since I first read Night Probe, it still remains in my top five. It's got action, it's got adventure, it's got a totally implausible yet plausible historical deviation, and most of it all, everything goes together. Night Probe remains my favorite action book (though not quite my favorite book.) Pick it up and give it a read, you won't be disappointed.
