The instruction manual for the Nikon D70 assumes that one is a professional photographer. However, with me that was far from the truth. But, I am familiar with the "point and shoot" digital cameras. I do not have the time to enroll for classes: how to use the Nikon D70. I decided to research my camera on the web. Finally, after researching numinous of websites, I went to Amazon. At Amazon, I found "Nikon D70 Digital Field Guide". The book was written for an amateur photographer. As a result, after reading the book, I now have a profound foundation and understanding of my Nikon D70 camera.
