Book Review: "No Commitment Required" might capture your heart

I thought only Sandra Kitt could write a well written interracial romance but Seressia Glass does an excellent job right along with her. In the beginning I was kind of hesitant to read this book because the author was unknown to me but curiosity had me reading it non stop. The interracial story is well done. The characters (main and supporting) are believable as are the plot and pace of the story.
In this account we have Yvonne (who sort of reminds me of Tyra Banks) who is a black entrepreneur and Michael, whom is a white business consultant. As they take Yvonne's company to new heights, so does their passion and their need for each other spirals explosively. Both have scars - emotional; Yvonne has physical scars, too. Even though they decide that commitment is not a requirement of their relationship, they both seek (unconsciously) the very commitment they have shunned. Through the conflict and the sometimes not-too-subtle attitudes of their friends, the romance is always there. The fact that she was not afraid to add some hot love scenes was an added bonus. It was a nice detour from the 'typical' love scene. Mike was great and completely romantic. I also loved the appropriate bluntness of the characters.
Again, Ms. Glass does a good job of making the reader feel and relate with these characters. She does not merely define them by their color but rather by what they have been through, their history. She makes this story more than about race and goes into the deeper human emotions that makes one empathize and be able to root for these characters. Besides that if your a collector of romance of any kind, this is also one to buy.
