Book Review: Anyone working with an LD child must read this book!
Summary: 5 Stars
I read this book several times when my daughter was first given a diagnosis of a Learning Disability. Although she has received several additional diagnoses since then, the information I learned in this book continues to be relevant and helpful. It clearly explains our reactions to these children, and gives specific ways to help them. I honestly believe that if EVERY teacher-- regular ed and special ed-- would read this book, they would make their own lives, and certainly the lives of thier students and their families MUCH easier. The same goes for parents, friends, families, neighbors, pastors, etc. I wish it was a mandatory part of life--read the book! :-) !!
