I'm really astounded someone else gave this book five stars, especially when I've always respected the reviewer. I rarely give ratings so low, but geez, this book was rife with cliches. Dialogue was absolutely horrible. Who really ever says "high falutin'" anymore? The characters sounded more like Foghorn Leghorn than any Coloradans I know. The characters were one-dimensional. I liked the author's first book. It was decent for a first time. But this one, was five steps back.
