Book Review: "love machine" or...

I have read all books by NR, publicated in Hungary (except one), and I loved them, except one (an other one:), some of them translated myself, but now I am thinking not to read Nora any more. What is this book? Romance? Not at all. Meg is a real love machine without any feelings, I would say, but maybe she is only sick, just "too little" inside, so she wants to prove arrogantly, sometimes distgustingly - disappointing, disillusioning, I just can't understand, what Nate sees in her.
I was completely shocked after reading about her revenge (?) - A boy had hurt her feelings, cheated her -- I loved Dru's solution for cheating in Chesapeake Blue (frying the CDs or washing up his fancy shoes:) -- What does Meg do? Humiliates the guy - in public! She drugs him - gives him some sleeping pills; dresses him in sexy women's underwear, makes up her face, curls his hair, then takes some photos and puts them up on Internet - BTW is it legal in the USA to give drug-medicine without his or her knowledge and approval? and those photos - is it OK and normal to put sy to public shame??? Isn't it a crime to humiliate someone publicly? - this reminded me of Hitler, who also humuliated publicly those men, who wanted to kill him - I think this Meg is sick, mad and quite dangerous.
But the most shocking thing for me was Nate's reaction - what does a cop say or do a man/woman humiliates another man/woman? Nate - in Hungarian version - enjoyed Meg's story, and found the revenge creative -- thanks! What a cop! Next time I will call him if I need help.
I won't tell the plot, because a lot of people did it before me. I can only tell the story is quite good, though the book is too long but I enjoyed the storyline; most of the characters are OK, Nate is a little weak but he is OK, too, except this little 'failure'. There are not only interesting points in the story but some excitement, too.
Personally I think that Nora's books begin to become a little bit perverted (see Blue Smoke, too), I preferred her Birthright, or series like Quinn Brothers or Concannon sisters, I love Eve and Roarke, but what to do with this perversity? Gentlemen, if Meg is the new ideal of a modern, independent woman, I am really sorry for you!
