Summary: 5 Stars
My quest for health started back in 1992, and I have read many books on the topic of healthy eating. This is the only book that has everything in one place, and a cookbook, is even better. As you're are reading the recipes you're also getting an education on why certain foods are used and the reasons why they are prepared a certain way. Reading the sidebars brought back so many memories, I kept saying to myself, yes, I remember learning that , and yes, that as well. It's a great book for someone just getting started on the road to optimal health and for those who have read it all before. Now when I cook with my children, we can learn together the importance of nutritionally dense foods and they will understand why things are done a certain way. There is no guess work, the proof will be in your health.
