Book Reviews of Odd Hours

Book Review: Ah!
Summary: 5 Stars

This book was a terrific one. Very vivid and lovely. The ending leaves you absolutely NEEDING to read the next one, the wait is almost unbearable.

The delivery was quicker than I expected it to be. It always makes me smile when people don't hesitate to send what I pay them for. So for complete satisfaction all the way through.. 5 stars.

Book Review: Amazing Odd
Summary: 5 Stars

I love the Odd Thomas series. I couldn't wait for this to come out! Odd is Dean's most captivating character next to those in the Fear Nothing/Seize the Night series. This is the 4th Odd book in the series that Koontz has written out of a promised 7. I highly recommend reading these in order and back to back. You won't be able to put them down!

Book Review: An edgy Odd...
Summary: 5 Stars

This is NOT the Odd Thomas of the last three books. Looking for the meek, humorous adventurer roaming through California confronting aliens, ghosts, demented scientists? No, not in this story. Odd has grown up and gotten an edge. Yes, his sense of humor and faith in goodness is still there, but this little fry cook has learned to wield more than the spatula. Odd is living in Magic Beach, tired of the California mountain snow, cooking, until the fog comes in together with a strange bunch of human bad guys. He meets Annamarie, who we never really understand, and together with an assorted set of paranormally gifted characters, attempt to avert nuclear annihilation of America. Bit over the top, though, and like Koontz's "Your Heart Belongs to Me," loose ends to the story abound. If you are a Koontz fan, particularly his more philosophical open-ended work, you will like it a lot. Otherwise, a good read, probably the best sequel so far, with some intriguing characters, suspense, and an ending clearly waiting to be resolved in the next Odd book.

Book Review: Another Dean Koontz Oddity
Summary: 5 Stars

As usual Dean does it again with Odd. As with all Dean Koontz stories you're captured right from the first page. Because it's an Odd series you already know you are hooked even before you opened the book. So for all of us Dean and Odd fans just sit back and read yourself into another great book. Live Odd's life and when you are done, sit back and try and figure out what goes on in Dean's mind. Boy he must be weird to live with. Aren't we glad!

Book Review: Another Great Dean Koontz Title
