An informative book and although most old ramones fans who followed the guys whilst they were actually playing years ago (such as myself), will already know the bare bone facts, but this book gets close to the actual truth that seems correct as far as Monte could print; The pre Ramones era, how they met, new photos, The break down of the friendships and the strains over 22 years and the highlights and low points of the bands career.Im sure that there is a lot that we still don't know and maybe we shouldn't find out, but "On the road with the Ramones" is certainly without doubt the best book yet about the background to the band and their life on the road and the aftermath.
