Grandma sent my son this book along with his first potty for his first birthday. He loves it constantly throwing it in my lap and saying "ma book". I switch the childish words out for our preffered ones eg. penis instead of pee,pee and instead of wee, wee pee, pee. I think this book is great!Book Review: Would Not Recommend

I, the reader, find this to be a terribly written book. (If you read it, you'll see what I mean by that!) I also don't like the use of made-up names for anatomical parts. I think she calls it a "Pee Pee". Call it what it is. Agree with other reviewers about the so-called "potty" in the illustrations is very confusing. It looks nothing like a toilet. This was a complete waste of my money.Book Review: classic!

my son loves this book because he can relate to the little boy since they both have "wee-wee's". I just wish they had a version for dads to read since my son uses the potty better with daddy.Book Review: learning by osmosis

At 20 months my son is already enjoying this book even though he isn't quite ready for full-on potty training. But making him familiar with the process through reading should hopefully be a great start.Book Review: seems to be a hit

I agree that the drawings are a little abstract, the wording a little funny at times, but my son LOVES this book. It has definately helped with the potty training process. I'll admit it was a little trying reading this book hundreds of times - but whatever it takes to get the job done was my feeling. My son's friend came over the other day, he found the book on our book shelf and his mom said how much he loved it and what an integral part of their potty training experience it was for them. He loved the book, too. Potty training can be a tedious process for both parent and child, but this book seems to really appeal to the 2 to 3 year old boy crowd. Anything that helps the process along is what it's all about.
