Book Reviews of Oneness

Book Review: I'm really not sure!
Summary: 1 Stars

I was so thrilled when I bought this book... I have read many books on the subject of spiritual awakening and spirituality. But, for me this one is a hard read, not because of the subject. In my opinion the author seems to talk in circles at times. I have had the book for several weeks and am only in chapter 3. I don't feel as if I have gained anything from what I have read. A few times I have caught myself saying, "WHAT!?" Not that what I had read was to far fetch, more so on trying to figure out just what they were trying to say in the first place. I am hoping it gets better as I read on...

Book Review: Incomprehensible
Summary: 1 Stars

I have been trying to read this book, because the topic intrigued me. The writing is nearly incomprehensible, so much so that I have to read sections multiple times to get a sense of what the author was trying to say. There is are lot of neologisms. The book reads as if the author was using a mind-altering substance and then writing down what came to the mind. If you want a good book on the concept of "oneness" spirituality, this is not the one. If you like to read vaguely defined or totally undefined musings and "float" from one to the next, this book should work well for you. It does not work for me. I have never read anything that makes so little sense to me.

Book Review: Metaphysical brilliance
Summary: 5 Stars

Metaphysically, this is possibly the best material. I have not written a review before, however after reading Oneness I am compelled. This is a book I did not want to stop reading, and I do reccommend you digest it slowly. I deeply appreciated Rasha's style of subtlety and sharing such profound insights without the use of elitist language. Too many authors come off egocentric or entail confusing dogma with labels and titles. This is a treasure and I will reference it often....

Book Review: Oneness
Summary: 5 Stars

Funny, it's actually quite hard for me to write a review of Oneness. My experience with this writing was so very personal and deep that it seems almost wrong to share it with others. I almost want to keep this book to myself as a secret joy that I share with no one else.

The truth is if I were left on a deserted island with only one book, I'd bring Oneness. The words of this book spoke to me as if they were written only for me. As I read, I had the distinct feeling that a wise master stood beside me helping me through concepts that my normal way of thinking found extremely difficult to process. I didn't have to be afraid or have the feeling that I wasn't up to the task. All was simply part of the way that I came to grips with my true self and existence itself.

I found myself subtly changing as I read. Where I used to beat myself up when I made mistakes and missteps, I now see this as part of the experience. Life isn't a race or a game with winners and losers. It's just an experience, a process of exploring ourselves and understanding oneness.

Book Review: Oneness
Summary: 5 Stars

A friend of mine had recommended this book and raved about it. Now I understand why. If you are searching for answers where spirituality are concerned and how you and your life fit into it all, this is the book to read. It promotes no religion. It does give you some real insight into who each of us truly is and why we are here. I have been on a spiritual quest for over 30 years and this book gave me new insights and many things to think about. I highly recommend it to every Seeker out there.
