Book Review: A Mystery novel-and a good read!
Summary: 3 Stars
I did not expect a mystery novel but that's what it became. As it unfolds you are drawn into each new level of darkness and evil in a corrupt and defiled world. An ugly world that appears to have trapped a young naive yet promiscuos girl which is also the writer of the story. She says all the right words to paint a picture of a victim and yet as you read on (and between the lines enough) you discover it is also a youg girl who dreamed of being Susan Hayward and very starstruck making you suspicious of her underlying motives for being in the situation she is in. The journey into darkness she took is only part of the mystery. Would she live or die what evil thing lurks around the next day's corner? She says one thing and then she does another? Did things turn out bad for her career and now she wants to make it appear she was forced into it all and thus releaving her of any moral responsibilty and hopefully clear her name? Or was she truthfully forced by fear to do unspeakable things and sadly mind controlled? There are many cracks in her words and they are "laced" through-out the book and it is up to you the reader to solve the mystery. You sincerely hope she has now found peace if her words are true and yet there is that seed of doubt that her own words seem to convict her of otherwise, so it is a mystery you are left with to ponder. Truth is hard to find especially in a world of illusion and darkness, one in which she fell into. I will not judge her especially knowing she has now deceased. I'll pray she is fine now. In this life the devil paints a pretty picture so be careful if you want to star in it.
One truthful thing we learn in this story is...When you cry out to God for help -It's very hard for God to help someone who cannot or will not help themselves.
