Book Review: ok for first year undergrads

i got this text book years ago when i started my under grad. it was set as the core text for organic for first year and i still cant see why. it only covers the basics and you will find yourself looking at it in later years in anger. there are so many better organic texts, like mcmurry. my advice would be dont buy a book that you wont even look at in your first year and then find usless in later years.
