Book Review: A special book that all ages would enjoy.

OutlanderI have read this book about three times and find something new in it each time. I have shared it with so many people who have shared my enthusiam for it. It is so interesting to read in detail the 17th century and especially when there is the special feelings of a nurse from the 20th century. Galbadon has researched this to the extent that you really feel like you are there. I have enjoyed the whole series, but the first two books to me were the best as they are in Scotland. I have never been there, but next year my husband and I are going there for a tour. Can't wait. I would recommend this book to everyone and have done so too.Book Review: AAAHHH! I was first a fan of Sara Donati's "Into the Wilderness" series. Anytime I mentioned them to someone who had read the "Outlander" series told me that I would love these that much more. But being my stubborn self, I refused to believe anything could be better. Well, needless to say, I was wrong. Gabaldon is quite the storyteller and I found myself completely absorbed for two days. Jamie Fraser is a man any women would want to love, with the greatest mix of innocence, courage, and strength. Claire (who I am slightly jealous of) is of the same mix, but for different reasons. Truly a great heroine. Aside from powerful characters, Galbaldon has done her research well, giving great facts on 18th century Scotland and only making the book more vivid. If the rest of the "Outlander" series is as good, I am definitely in for a treat.

I had been reading other time travel books, and was looking for others, when I came across Diana Gabaldon... I tried "Outlander" and I was hooked... It was the best... I just finished "Dragon fly in Amber" the other day, I couldn't put it down... I just had to read the other two.. So I bought the whole set... I am reading "Voyager" now, and the story just keeps getting better and better.. I can't wait for the stories to continue.. Three cheers for Diana Gabaldon... She is a wonderful writer... It's worth staying up till 3a.m. to learn what will happen to Claire and Jamie....Book Review: AMAZING

You have enough plot summaries, so I won't bore you. Just know this book has EVERYTHING: action/adventure, passion, humor, history. The characters are so well developed, and the dialogue is wonderful. You will fall in love with Jamie and Claire. Books like this remind me why I love reading so much.Book Review: 5 Stars
Thank God I trusted the majority of the reviews here on Amazon & ordered this book- despite being a little unsure of the plot - time travel/romance...really? Wow, what a story! I don't think I breathed through most of the book, and when I did remember to I was either laughing or crying. I have never been so caught up in a book and it's characters. If you love great historical fiction with an amazing love story and amazing characters, this book is for you - But be prepared to be consumed by this story (and all of the books in this series)!
