Book Reviews of Peek-A Who?Book Review: Cute book! Summary: 4 Stars
This is one of my daughter's favorite books! It's nice and short and easy for them to memorize. My daughter can anticipate what the next page has because of the 'windows' on the pages. This is a great book for toddlers!
Book Review: Cute book! Summary: 5 Stars
Great book for infants up to about one and a half!!! Simple text, bright photos!! Fun to read!!! A good first or early book to use with your child.
Book Review: Cute, but not great quality Summary: 3 Stars
This is a really cute book as reviews attest. My son loves it. I will say it probably wouldn't make the best gift since within hours of having received it, the edges began to appear worn. The bright green gave way to white, making it look years old after about a week. We have tons of board books, many second hand from other babies, and this is the oldest looking book in our collection, despite being the youngest. The publisher must use a poor quality process or something, too bad because it's a super cute book. We like to read it as... "peek a who?..." then turn the page, rather than just "peek a..." Not sure why the author didn't maximize on the opportunity to rhyme throughout the book since children love that.
Book Review: Definitely worth adding to your collection! Summary: 5 Stars
As a first time mom, I have been on what seems to be a never ending quest to find books that keep my 6 month old's attention. He could care less about the beautiful editions of nursery rhymes and fairy tales we received as gifts. This book, on the other hand, was love at first sight. The colors are eye catching and the small size is perfect for little hands. My son loves to turn the pages and can get his fingers around the cut-outs in the pages. The rhymes are cute too and illicit many appreciative "coos" from the baby. The mirror at the end provides endless entertainment. All in all a great buy for the under 1 set!
Book Review: Delightful book for babies and toddlers Summary: 5 Stars
My daughter has absolutely loved this book for almost a year now. She is now 16 months old and this is still one of her favorite books. She loves the little peek-through windows and is now trying to make the different "who" "boo" "moo" etc. sounds along with me. She loves to give herself a little kiss in the mirror on the last page. Highly recommended!
