Book Reviews of Peek-A Who?Book Review: Delights our 11-month-old Summary: 5 Stars
Our daughter loves this book! It is short & easy enough that she listens to it many times in a row. The cutouts in the board book pages make it easy for her to turn the pages herself by grabbing hold of the holes instead of page edges. She loves the mirror at the end and sticks her nose right up to it.
Book Review: Don't waste your money Summary: 2 Stars
My 18 month old loves to play "Peek-a-boo", and if anything saying "Peekachoo, peekamoo, peekazoo, etc." was confusing. Will stick with the pop up books for now-they always bring a smile to his face!
Book Review: Easy to Read Summary: 4 Stars
My sister got this book for my 15 month old son. After reading it about three times, he was able to finish each rhyme himself. It's nice and small so easy to hold, with nice colors. It is his new favorite.
Book Review: Easy to turn pages for little babes Summary: 5 Stars
Love this book. Bought it because of the reviews for my then 6 month old. He didn't seem to care for it. From around 10 months this is THE book he pulls from the pile (he's nearly a year). With the peek-a-book cut out he is able to easily turn the pages himself, making the story reading so much more exciting for him. We make noises for each of the hidden things (owl, cow, ghost, zoo, train) and then give kisses into the mirror. Although he can only say a few words "goh" (ghost) is one of them!
Book Review: Eek-a! Summary: 5 Stars
My 13 month old loves this book. It actually inspired her fifth word! We were reading the book and as I was about to say "Peek-A... Moo", I heard this tiny "eek-a" from my daughter. I turned the page for Peek-a-Boo, and before I could say anything, she did it again - "eek-a". It's repetitious so I think it taught her to say the word. Now she loves to say "eek-a" before I turn the page. I don't know that you can find "eek-a" in a Webster's, but I'll take it!
