Book Review: Disappointing children's book

I purchased this book for our daughter's first birthday. My husband and I planned her first trip to the zoo, so we thought this book would be perfect to go along with that. We were very disappointed when we first read the book with her. There are only 2 or 3 actual "zoo" animals, and the book has absolutely no story. I think Scholastic just put several different developmental activities in a book with no coherent order. In addition, the flap parts are very flimsy. My daughter ripped the elephant's trunk in the first day of use. I will not be purchasing anymore books from this series.
