Book Review: A total waste of your time and money

I have given "Photoshop Elements 7 for Dummies" the absolute benefit of the doubt since I purchased it three months ago. I started to keep a list of real Photoshop Elements 7 functions that are not covered in this book, such as Surface Blur, but decided not to write an Amazon review so discarded those notes. However, today when I wanted information on using the High Pass Filter function for sharpening, and found it nowhere in the book, I felt obligated to write a review to prevent other potential purchasers from wasting their money. I don't know how they can call it Photoshop Elements 7 when many of the significant functions are not even mentioned. And the functions that are mentioned are covered so basically, and with no depth, so as to make the information of very little practical value. This book is a total waste of money. I plan to throw it into the trash rather than donating it to the Public Library because I want the patrons to choose one of the more valuable resources.
