Book Review: You MUST read this to your child

Pippi is not really like other girls. Though she is just a child she lives alone in a large house with her monkey and horse. Her hair is red, her socks are two different colors and , oh yeah, she is the stongest girl in the world. A very unorthodox hero that makes Harry Potter look like an ordinary child. This is read by Sarah Greene ex-Blue Peter presenter. Whilst she does an adequate job, she does not really light the story up. That said, Ms Greene has a not unpleasant voice and the overall production is good.
The classic story is read faithfully to the original in this unabridged edition and it makes excellent listening for children up to about 12 years old. This is on two cassettes, each of about 45 minutes per side.
Excellent stuff, shame it's on cassette and not CD.
