Where do I even start with this book. Forgive me if I leave a lot of details out but I read this particular book about a year ago. A few years ago I tried reading one of Eric Jerome Dickey's first books (Naughty or Nice) and I got bored with it really fast. Anyway, I thought all of his books were going to be that way so I chose to look pass him every time I saw his books in the bookstore. Boy was I wrong!!! One of my co-workers lent Pleasure to me (and the rest is history)...
Pleasure started off scandalous and hot, and it just progressed into something that deserves a shot on the big screen. I would've never imagined that a woman (Nia Simone Bijou) could have such a sexual appetite. And to make matters even more crazy, the men that she was choosing to be intimate with were just as off the hook as she was. I have to say that all of those men only brought out what was truly inside of her. And it wasn't just the men; KiKi Sunshine brought her A-Game. I'm not going to give the details of the book because I'll spoil it for everyone. This was truly my kind of book as far as the scandal, suspence, drama and action went. It was nonstop.
I was definitely impressed (not even a quarter of the way through the book). When Pleasure was lent to me I was skeptical, but E.J. Dickey has made me re-evaluate how I profiled him. This was an excellent book from beginning to end. If you want to read something hot and steamy, this is a good look for you. Definitely a page-turner...
