I thoroughly enjoyd EJD's lastest read. I did not want this one to end. I got to page 442? and said why? :) I did not mind the sex scenes. It is definitely a book for the grown and sexy! I hope his next book is just as good or even better. Good job EJD ?? I enjoyed the characters Nia, Karl and Mark. Where do i begin? This book sucked at the beginning. It took me a long time to finish this book because I kept on putting it down to start another book. But when the sex came into play it go interesting, but at the end I wasnt left with the feeling that I could read this book again. I just thought, why did I buy this? I could have borrowed it. But Ima keep on supporting him, I have brought all this books except Genevieve. I was disappointed in Thieve's Paradise but I loved Chasing Destiny. Is it just me or did anyone pick up that the mother from CD showed up in SWS/WWE, but she had a different name?Book Review: Nia is a freak

I've been a great fan of Dickey's work for years and am pretty familiar with his writing style. The majority of his books have erotic sexual descriptions as the background, which I'm fine with, I enjoy that about his books. But with Pleasure that seems to be the forefront of the entire book so it's overly sexual for my taste. His main character Nia has that constantly on her mind and her escapades with the twins (Mark & Karl) and Kiki is overly perverted. Nia explores her sexually wild side throughout this book and I feel that she's lost somehow by trying to fulfill a void in her life. I will continue to read Dickey's books but I will be more careful in my future selections.Book Review: Nice try but....

This is the first erotic novel I ever read and I really did not enjoy eat. The book had wayyy too many repetitions than necessary. The repetitions literally made up about 1/2 of the book. Eric Jerome Dickey totally over exaggerated the sex scenes. From my perspective, they also became repetitive. I also hated the way the book ended. The novel didn't have a complete resolution. It just had a climax and then ended. I must admit that this was a page turner but it was not good writing.
