Book Review: One of the deepest poetry ever written

Ady's poetry is not an easy read - they say. In my experience, his poetry is easy to receive because he expressed complex thoughts and intricate feelings in such a gifted way, that his words just captivate and carry the reader to a different dimension of the soul where the message is just there, open, in its natural, self explanatory way.
I was very sceptical when I first opened this book. Ady wrote in Hungarian language, which uses very different grammatical structures and ways of expression. I doubted that his poems could be translated to English in a way that the translated poems' power and richness in meaning could come even close to the originals. To my great amazement, Anton Nyerges' translation is true to Ady's beautiful Hungarian poems.
