Book Reviews of Point of Impact

Book Review: Best Thriller Writer, Bar None
Summary: 5 Stars

I have read every work by Clancy, Patterson, Grisham, and Crichton --- All Great --- But Hunter is even better.

Book Review: Best Thriller Yet!
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a great book! The characters are well drawn and theplot is seamless and complicated. There's a lot of ordnance info thatyou fellas will love and that even I thought interesting. (Not fascinating, just interesting). I generally avoid these conspiracy thrillers like Ebola Fever, but a friend told me this one was exceptional and he was right. Couldn't put it down. Come on, girls, give it a chance! It elevates the thriller genre into literature just as James Lee Burke takes the detective yarn to a higher plane.

Book Review: Best action novel ever.
Summary: 5 Stars

*Point of Impact* is the best modern action novel I've ever read. And I HATE GUNS! Bob and Nick are the two most likeable flawed heroes ever. I cheered and laughed out loud several times.

Book Review: Best book I've ever read
Summary: 5 Stars

The plot is complex and interesting without being confusing, the characters are all fascinating and, except for Bob Lee, believable (how do you make it through a 500 page guys-with-guns novel and only get shot twice?). But believable or not, I still loved him. The action is neither so spread out that the book falters, nor is it all saved for the climax making for an overly long read. Furthermore, the technical detail actually improves the action, rather than slowing it down. The mystery ("Rom Do" and all that) is wondefully intelligent and beautifully solved. If you don't at least TRY to read this book, you're nuts. And after you're done this one he's got about five more crazy books for you to read.

Book Review: Best book I've ever read? Not hardly, but pretty good!
Summary: 4 Stars

I was amazed at the number of 5 star reviews. I hesitated even to review. But this is a good book. Overly long and plodding at times. The sequal is better. If you like Clancy you will like this, but keep your expectations moderate.
