I consider the skill of getting in touch with and removing negative feelings to be the most important in both personal and spiritual development. The first few chapters of this book are the best set of instructions for how to do this that I have ever read. (I have now read around 30 other self-help books.)I feel so much more at peace having learnt this skill, and it is wonderful to watch how much your life can be improved with this one simple technique.
Also get this book for its good and clear descriptions of living in the now and spiritual concepts. You get the feeling that this whole book was written by someone who really "gets" what he is writing about although the later chapters only have fairly standard new age concepts in them.
I find it useful to read this book in conjunction with "A Course In Miracles" and "Emotional Clearing".

You really should get round to reading this. It hits the nail on the spot. Top marks for simplicity. You start feeling a permanent positive change in your life from the first few pages!It certainly is a brilliant guide to Enlightenment.

What an utter load of rubbish. nonsense about spirituality and the likes. This book is dangerous rubbish, trying to delude the mentally weak, and should be treated with contempt .. jsut reading other reviewwers comments makes you question why you would want to buy this .. "It saved me from insaninty" .. well that says it all really. This book is written to take advantage of the mentally imbalanced, if you have problems, sort them out yourself or seek professional help, don't listen to a profiteering scumbag who is seeking to rip you off.Book Review: This is life

I think one should question their definition of mentally imbalanced! Living life moment by moment has to be better than constantly reliving the past and living in anticipation of the future. This book teaches you how to live life to the full and appreciate and aknowledge the present moment, because nothing else is real except for the present moment.
