Book Review: "Power" We Must Seek!
Summary: 5 Stars

This is an empowering book that enables the average person in our American society to believe that we can make a difference for our lives, for our families, and for our communities. Each chapter brings out an aspect of our culture that affects our nation and us as individuals now and into the future. The best part about the book is that the final chapter wraps up the entire theme of the book in a reachable hope of ongoing liberty and freedom: ". . . without faith to sustain us through good times and bad, without our belief in the Almighty to renew our sense of purpose, all our efforts will be stillborn. The culture, politics, the media, everything around us is a reflection of not just our national soul-but our individual souls as well. Each moral choice we make reverberates into the lives of those around us and throughout the world." This is the "Power" we must seek!

Book Review: A Call to Action!
Summary: 5 Stars

This is an outstanding book of where conservatism and the Republican Party should be today. The Republican Party should just dump it's backward leaning stances and adopt what's outlined in Ingraham's book. Ingraham has already proven herself as an accomplished radio program host. This book really cements her foundation as an author.

Her book has a purpose and that's it's title. She clearly spells out her view of how Americans have lost their grasp and gives very good direction as to how Americans can get it back. Specifically the focus is on conservative issues as judges recreating the constitution, religious freedom and the strength of the American citizen (vs. the contrary view of helping illegal aliens).

She covers all of this and much, much more in a writing style that reflects her speaking style which brings this book even more to life. Beyond all that, the book is funny. Witty remarks are peppered throughout just as you might hear her say during her show. I found myself often breaking out into laughter, something I did not expect.

Bravo to Miss Ingraham for creating an extremely well thought out book that is as insightful as it is inspiring!

Book Review: A Great Book That Exposes The Emptiness of Left Wing Minds
Summary: 5 Stars

I shout a BIG AMEN! to all of the positive reviews but what I really enjoyed where the two negative reviews by those two immature children Basinet and Kand...All they could do was throw empty insults without one specific arguement...Why? Because they have no facts to counter Laura's well documented points of view and like most liberals, they are suffering from diaper rash of the mind...
Laura and Anne Coulter make one suspect that contray to the propaganda popular culture puts out, Blonds just may be the Most Intelligent of All....Since the Dems had so much fun accusing Republicans of having a culture of corruption(the only difference is that Republicans kick their perverts and crooks out, Democrats PROMOTE theirs) I think we should tag the Democrats as THE PARTY OF APPEASEMENT...

Book Review: A Message - For the Masses
Summary: 4 Stars

This is Laura Ingraham's year (pronounced `Ingram.') She is getting tremendously active political exposure on the Cable Network News spots as well as an incredible growth base in her right-leaning radio program. What is she saying that has so many people interested in her opinions? What does she base this on? What are the ramifications of her oratory? She begins to explain the answers in her third book: "Power to the People."

The essential crux of her point is that America is suffering deeply at the hands of those who have allowed the `pornification' of our society to exist. We've neglected to appreciate the sacrifices that must accompany the concept of `freedom'. Ingraham says in the book: "Too often we have believed that "freedom" means that we have no duties or responsibilities to others. That "anything goes" mentality may appear to be empowering, but it is not. Instead, it creates a sense of anarchy that makes most Americans very unhappy."

She details with an astonishing clarity, how and why the American family unit has been attacked (primarily by the left, in her view) and torn apart with values that no longer held a unit together, but rather, encouraged a person to act primarily in their own interest. Ingraham rails on the politicians who cannot keep up with trends and vote erroneously mostly out of ignorance of change and voting only within the partisan walls of their confines. She shows the inconsistencies of freedom of speech and the attempts of Left-leaning advocates to stymie the conservative voices on radio. In all, there are far too many topics for her to discuss in much detail, and it is possible to be overwhelmed by the torrent of information and opinion.

Whether you agree with Laura Ingraham or not, it is critical that all people of all political viewpoints, constantly read both points of view and hopefully you can then make a serious opinion based upon both POV's. Laura has made a career out of studying her `enemy' to the left and spares no pen in detailing their faults. She writes: "We have a lot of work to do. We must shake off our lethargy and reconnect with our American heritage. What follows is a call to arms. We need to fight for our culture, for our country. We need to revive our understanding of traditional, conservative principles -- the true empowerment agenda."

She encourages people to get off their duff, feel empowered, and with common sense, a decent moral compass, and due diligence conquer the inherent flaws in our society.

Book Review: A book that should be read by every American
Summary: 5 Stars

What a wonderful, warm, heart-rending book. Laura tells it like it is and doesn't mince words. I found the book to be very easily read. She also bares her soul when talking about her bout with cancer which endeared her to me. This is a very important book which should be read by all Americans to "wake them up" to the dangers that surround us. We must bring ourselves out of the apathy that we have been in for so many years. Laura's book helps us to do that.
