Book Review: How bad does it have to get...?

...before we take the power back that we have so willingly given up to the federal, state and local governments and institutions. Laura Ingraham's Power to the People is a book whose intention is to spur action and it succeeds in doing so.
Chapter after chapter and topic after topic she lays out, often humorously, our current situation on topics such as, judges, our educational system, our culture, the family and several more. Be sure to have a pen or pencil and a notebook ready because I believe you will want to take notes. And if you have never written in a book before this may be the one you start doing so in.
I recently saw Ms. Ingraham at an event and she discussed how she wanted this book to be a "blueprint". I believe she has succeeded and I know it has personally made me further commit to taking action. If each conservative minded individual would take up at least one cause passionately we will turn the tide of where this great nation is heading.
Perhaps because of space limitations or because she didn't want to risk being "preachy" the one lacking thing in Power to the People was more direct actions we as a people could take. While Ms. Ingraham does an excellent job of presenting the issues, I believe some more specific actions could have been given and it is this reason only that I give it four stars. However, her intention may have been to simply spur thought and to let each individual formulate their strategy of how to counteract our current situation.

Laura's wit, intelligence, humor, satire and insights blended with useful advice and information help to make this not only another great read, but provides the reader with a handbook of hope and a sense of power. We CAN help to change the direction our culture is heading. The USA does not have to be the armpit of the world, with regard to the "pornification" of the culture. Yes, what was once regarded as freakish is now the norm, and what was once the norm and tradition, is now regarded as extreme and fringe. Laura Ingraham subtley reminds us that The USA is a nation founded on principles of belief in God. Now, however, we have judges making their own laws through their personal interpretations. People like Pelosi & Reid sending us down paths never imagined by the Founding Fathers; DA/Prosecutors like Nifong setting their own legal standards and if, not called, these actions will send this country to oblivion. I thank God for Laura's insight.Book Review: I lived Laura's book!

I think what gives Ms. Ingraham's presentation such credibility is that she's takes on Bush and Republicans when they're just as wrong as Democrats.
