Book Review: It's about Time
Summary: 5 Stars

It is about time that someone speaks for the majority of Americans. Laura Ingraham shoots from the hip and tells it like it is. The liberal movement is destroying America. This book is well written and very useful. Should be a read in every high school civics class (if they still teach civics).

Book Review: It's time for the common American to be the political activist
Summary: 4 Stars

Regardless of your political affiliation, Laura Ingraham is someone to be respected. She makes no attempt to hide her traditional conservative values, but she also avoids the tactics of the political radicals and extremists that have corrupted the proud tradition of American political debate. She is fair, honest and heart-spoken.

Her latest book is a proverbial call to arms, through the democratic process. Her target audience is the common everyday American. The person who works hard at their 9-5 job, struggling to teach their children right from wrong and pass a strong country and stable future to the next generation. These are the people who need to get involved to protect America from the radicals that seek to weaken her. Our apathy is just as dangerous as their extremism. It's Ingraham's hope that today's backbone of America are tomorrow's political activists, as it should be.

Our pornified culture and loss of traditional American values, coupled with pathetic leadership from self-serving politicians and a growing threat from anti-American internationalists all warrant action from common Americans. We've done it before. Common Americans, both left and right leaning, united to defeat Bush's amnesty bill and stop Harriet Meir from reaching the Supreme Court. These are 2 examples of the power of the people, and serve as inspiration for further action to take America back.

Bravo for Ms Ingraham. Keep up the good work.

Book Review: John Lennon Would Be Proud
Summary: 4 Stars

Laura boldly challenges Americans to take back power from the corrupt and amoral government leaders that have had this country in a stranglehold for the last 8 years. In using the famous expression made popular by the civil rights movement and by her spiritual hero, John Lennon, Ingraham reminds the citizens of this great nation that, hey..."Power to the People". Ingraham clearly and rationally lays out the case for ousting the current administration and regaining the democratic principals that the founders had established to give ...you got it...Power to the People. Ingram starts out blasting the White House decision to go to war with a country that posed no real threat to us. She eloquently writes about the thousands upon thousands of innocents that were killed and expresses heartfelt rage at the likes of Rumsfeld and Cheney for glorifying the shock and awe strategy that rained bombs upon the children of Baghdad whom she cries for every night. In addition to pointing out all of the injustices she has seen perpetated by this administration, she also has strong words for the congressmen who have supported this president's positions on torture and dismantling our civil rights. There is also a lengthy but worthwhile section on how our political and religious leaders, such as Larry Craig, Mark Foley, David Vitter, Bob Livingston, James McGreevy, Ted Haggard, Lindsay Graham and the many others she writes about, through their unpardonable deviant sexual behavior, have brought about the total decay of family values and morality in this country (I haven't actually seen anything about Lindsay Graham doing anything sexually wierd...just guessing). Ingram is America's most powerful spokeperson for bringing back...Power to the People.

Book Review: Just As I Thought
Summary: 1 Stars

I didn't want to buy this book because I thought it would be just more of the conservative whining that we've been hearing every since Geo got us into this mess. I was right. I went to the local book store and read the book over the past two weeks, and find that Ingraham is just like the rest of the conservatives. Somewhere along the line she has lost it or must have been abused by the Democrats. I was glad to see that Amazon has advertised her book with that of Ann Coulter as you can hardly tell them apart, or are they one and the same person? My recommendation? Don't buy it.

Book Review: Just as Passionate in Person
Summary: 5 Stars

I can't write anymore than what everyone else has said about this book in a positive way. It is definitely a must read. I was fortunate to see Ms. Ingraham on her book tour when she came through Texas and she is just as genuine and passionate in person. Even if you are not a conservative or Republican one should have enough of an open mind to read this book. It's not a matter of left or right, it's a matter of what is right.
