Book Review: Practice is life, life is practicing
Summary: 4 Stars
This was a very enjoyable read for me. I have been playing guitar for many years and saw much of myself looking back at me as I turned each page. This book is a wonderful insight into the musicians life. Practice seems so maundain and boring at times. More scales and exercises. What does it matter in the end? The average person that hears us play has no idea of the problems and issues that must be overcome to play well, nor do they care! Practicing would seem to be a completly selfcentered persuit at times but without it, the music that the public demands would cease to exist.
I recomend this book to anyone that wants see beyond the performace and find the music and understand the people that make it.
