Book Review: For beginner to intermediate bakers
Summary: 4 Stars

I was a Le Cordon Bleu student and this is the assigned text book for baking, there are many pictures for illustration, detail steps, background information. It is however impossible to show anyone all the exact steps in terms of pictures, thats why some of us pay $38,000 to get that information in terms of going to a culinary school. But I must say this book is way better than Nacy Silverton's...someone needs to tell her to enroll in a techincal writting class, a skill she is seriously lacking!

Book Review: Great cook book

I needed this book for a class I was taking and found it much cheaper through Amazon then at school. My only critique is that I wish it had the nutritional value per recipe and the yield amount. Since everything is by weight not cups for example I am sure with time I will be able to figure it out. I am new to the whole weighing of ingredients but it makes a huge difference. Would highly recommend this book.
