Book Review: Awesome read, packed full of comedy, political and otherwise.
Summary: 5 Stars
I love the Boondocks phenomenom and have started watching the tv series; its even better than the newspaper strips (books) that so spawned it. However these books are worth the purchase to give you an insight into where the characters came from and to continue in the Boondocks humour. At times its heavily politically based and maybe more geared to an American audience but the humour isnt lost on anyone with an understanding on the issues affecting them and ultimately the whole world but seen through African American eyes as it were (Bush-Condolezza-War in Iraq). Nevertheless I love the series and plan to get all the books and pray MacGruder releases more, last I had heard he had stopped the printing to concentrate on the tv show.
