Book Review: One star - Might change if I ever receive the order...

I placed the order for three books, including this one, on January 4, 2010. Today is January 14, 2010 and the item has still not shipped, and includes a shipping date of January 19-25, followed by the transit time. One of the books in my order shipped on January 5, 2010 (mind you all of these books were listed in stock and shipped by Amazon when I placed the order) and is scheduled to arrive by January 15, 2010. At that rate, I should anticipate receiving the other portion of my order after a month then? I find it hard to believe that anything shipped from one major city in the U.S. to another major city in the U.S. takes 2 weeks.
In any case, if you would like to see your order within 4 weeks of placing it, avoid the free supser saving shipping and pay for faster service, although, it may not ship out for a few weeks either. At least you know that when it does ship, you will have it delivered expeditiously. Also, you could save the shipping altogether and have it the same day by just heading to your local bookstore.
