Book Review: Great book for singers

I already owned the first edition and wanted to offer a copy to my singer.
Thing is, the first edition book is $80 and this one ?20, so I thought I would pick this one up, read it, and offer the best of the two to my singer.
As soon as I opened the book, I understood why it was much cheaper : it's filled with infomercials.
I'm not too keen on that, but if Jaime really uses those products, why not recommend them, especially if it helps lowering the price of the book ? (I'd probably do the same if I was to write a book about guitar playing. As a reader, it may look unnecessary, but as a musician, I admit this is something we do everyday)
Another nice additon is articles written by people Jaime has interviewed or has been working with since the first edition of the book. Readers already familiar with his website may find it redundant, but others will be pleased with the miscellaneous insights given.
I found the book very useful, it's written in a typical "just do it now" American way and it's hard to restrain practicing one's voice on the spot when reading the book.
I'm still bothered with the amateurish font on the cover, but the content is what matters and I think Jaime delivers a very good and exhaustive piece of work.
I definitely recommend that book to anyone interested in singing.
