Book Review: This is the best book on this subject that I have ever seen!

As a vocal student, I have spent a small fortune on books, videos, and vocal courses. Learning about the human voice in any capacity is essentially a lifelong study for anyone who is serious about singing. Without question, Jaime Vendera's "Raise Your voice" is the best book I have ever seen on strengthening and building your voice. The vocal techniques that rest within "Raise Your Voice" are solid, based upon years of serious research, and explained in such a way that even a child could understand them. One of the things I've found interesting about Jaime's approach to voice instruction is that he personally goes out and interviews professional singers, vocal coaches, and Voice Doctors, and then makes these interviews available to those who purchase the book. So, for the price of this book, not only do you receive the immense wealth of knowledge concerning the human voice that Jaime has accumulated over the years, you also receive access to all of these interviews; one in particular is with the world renowned Voice specialist, Dr. Morton Cooper.
I've exchanged several E-mails with Jaime, and I can tell you without a doubt that he is truly passionate about the voice, singing, and helping you achieve the voice that you've always dreamed of having - he is the ideal voice instructor. Having seen Jaime breaking glasses on the TV show "Mythbusters", I had to check him out online. Once I began reading his website, I found out that Jaime had not only learned the technique of breaking glasses from Jim Gillette (who also suggested that "Mythbusters" contact Jaime) but that Jaime was singing praises about Jim - at that point, I knew I had to have this book.
For those who don't know who Jim Gillette is, Jim has one of the most powerful voices in the world; as the lead singer of the metal band Nitro, he shocked the world with his 6.5 octave range. Gillette released one of the first Instructional videos for Hard Rock singers entitled "Vocal Power", and I would consider this book as building upon the concepts that Jim Gillette revealed in that 1991 release.
So, if you want to have the most powerful voice and widest range that you can possibly have, purchase this book! Study the concepts and techniques within it, and Practice! Practice! Practice!. I would also like to suggest another of Jaime Vendera's releases, entitled "The Ultimate Breathing Workout"; this book builds upon the concept of diaphragmatic breathing, which is one of the most misunderstood techniques ever discussed. Purchase these two books, and you will have the foundation to sing like singers such as Ronnie James
Dio, Chris Cornell, Jim Gillette, and numerous other vocalists known for their extremely powerful voices and wide ranges.
On a scale of 1 to 10, this book is a 200!

I know this book is good, however, amazon claims it's in stock, i'm sending this book as a Birthday gift, and they tell me it will take 1 and 1/2 MONTHS to deliver this.
Customer service just tries to make you feel good about your purchase, but when it comes down to it, they don't give a .........form letter is all you will get.
Amazon, WAKE UP.
