Book Review: A Memory the will Always be with Me

Reflection from a Mother's Heart is a book I gave to my Mother back in the late 1980's, early 1990's. She never journaled in it. It was a book that always sat out (pretty cover). In July of 2005 she was diagnosised with cancer (liver and panceras) and I knew we had not more than six months. I took the book home with me and every day I would call her and read her 3-4 questions and she would tell me the stories. I wrote them down. I really wish we had done it sooner when her memory was sharper. You always think you have forever to do something - and sometimes you don't. When she passed into the Lord's arms in January 2006 I recorded all the stories and answers in a journal and gave one to myself and one to my brother. Mom's and Dad's should all do this - the stories my Dad could have given to me if I had only thought about it sooner.
