Book Reviews of Reiki False Beliefs Exposed For All Misinformation Kept Secret By a Few Revealed

Book Review: A Must Have
Summary: 5 Stars

I have read all four of Steve Murray's Books, Reiki the Ultimate Guides 1,2,3, and Reiki False beliefs Exposed for all. I use them all the time as reference. I have been studying the Healing Arts for some years now, and felt my greatest shift in energy when I first took the Reiki One Attunement through Steve's DVD program. Now I am a Reiki Master, and I owe it all to Steve Murray's belief that Reiki should be available to all. I studied Reiki for about 6 months prior to finding out about Steve Murray's program, I thought it would never be possible for me. All the other programs cost too much and I had to travel, which was another expense I didn't have. I have still read other Reiki Books and Information, none of them were as thorough and informative as Steve Murray's 4 books. They filled in all the holes that the other sources left out or didn't want to release. In my opinion this Program is the best out there, nothing is cryptic, it is all easy to follow and understand, at a fraction of the cost. Without these 4 books by my side, I would have too many questions, and not enough answers. Which would hinder me from giving the best Reiki Service I can. Thank you, Steve! Keep up the good work, I believe you are spreading a powerful message to the masses, that message is of peace. Namaste

Book Review: Reiki Uncovered
Summary: 5 Stars

This is the 4th book in Steve Murray's Reiki Series... I have to say when I bought it I was wondering what possible information could he add that he had not already covered... But, I bought it anyway as I loved his other 3 books and each of those had surprised me too... I found to my delight this book was just as hard to put down as the other 3... This book is packed with insightful information about Reiki that you won't find in another book (trust me on that one), one of the reviewers stated that perhaps linage made a difference in the price you paid to become attuned, and that even if that were true, it wasn't worth the extra money... That almost sounds like this system is less powerful because it's not directly passed down from the proper Linage - after Steve's book you won't ever question if Linage is more powerful again - I look at it this way; even if you're not a Christian - everyone knows the Story of Christ, (I think) lol and, can ONE honestly say that Christ would charge you 10,000 dollars to be a healer? Can you honestly say to a mother (Struggling and poor) trying to support and pay for the medical bills of a sick or dying child from a horible illness such as Cancer or many other illness, that she could not become a Reiki Healer to help her child because she can't afford the high prices it takes to become a healer?
I don't understand this kind of thinking... Steve brings to us a way to receive a divine power that isn't in us - we simply channel it - so why can't we get it the same way Usui Did? I believe Steve Murray is that channel to help spread the gift of healing to the thousands of
people who need it... This 4th book clears up so many misconceptions about Reiki and what it is and is not, and will open your level of thinking because once we stop analyzing, or taking in new information, the sooner we stop learning. Steve Murray quotes a Buddha quotes in the beginning of this book, one of my favorites: "Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense." Thank you Steve Murray for another beautiful book to help those of us on this journey that
don't have 10,000 dollars to find the way to enlightenment, and offer healing's to those we love...

Book Review: Awesome Reiki Toolbox!!
Summary: 5 Stars

This comprehensive set of guides is an awesome review of Reiki basics with all those little things you may have forgotten over the years.

After reviewing all four books (Reiki Ultimate Guide Volumes 1-3 and Reiki False Beliefs Exposed For All) I found that the sections on psychic sugery (Volume 2) and the entire book(Volume 3) about aura attunements really grabbed my interest the most. I plan on using the aura attunements where I can in my practice, starting with myself. I am also interested in the Reiki Healing Attunements because when I was taught my level 1 and level 2 we didn't really have such things, it was a more hands on, balancing with specific spot healing when needed. I like the approach of using the chakra's and appreciated the layout you gave for the chakra's and their associated physiological areas. Again, very useful. These books and the 3 DVD attunements have totally changed my perspective about my practice of Reiki. I can truly see why you term these volumes as a Toolbox. I would suggest that any serious Reiki Practitioner should read and re-read these as they are definitely applicable to the 'real world' applications of Reiki. Thanks to Steve Murray for his insight in getting these out to the world!

Book Review: Brilliant Reiki Books and DVD's
Summary: 5 Stars

Although I was a already a Reiki Practitioner having passed Reiki 1st and 2nd Level with another Master I decided to read all the books to do with Steve Murray's training to have Reiki 1st, 2nd and Master level. I also took the Attunements by the DVD's. The books are really interesting and I learnt a lot more than I already knew. After taking the DVD Attunements the results have been brilliant. The Reiki is flowing through very powerfully and I have had amazing results with my clients.

Book Review: The Misinformation is mostly present in this book...
Summary: 1 Stars

I would rate Steve Murray lower than one star if Amazon allowed me that gratitude.

First of all, I feel sorry that Steve has been trained in such a way he cannot look beyond himself and actually LOOK at counter arguments to his books. I would NOT like to be in the same room having a discussion about Reiki with Steve Murray. I feel he would cut me off, and tell me what he thinks already knowing what I had to add to the subject is a 'misinformation' and not true to Reiki. For those that feel the same way, do not read on.

I have read much of the literature of Reiki, quite a bit of it can be quite bad, badly researched, and in general not so useful. Steve's books tops them all. The main reason why I am so venomous towards his books is that he has all the information at hand and still chooses to ignore it. Past writers didn't have the information we had, and hte understanding so I can quite easily forgive the misunderstandings and the errors in those books.

Steve Murray doesn't seem to want to try and understand Reiki at a deeper level than a five year old child. He sees things that are 'secret' and thinks that is a bad and naughty thing for things to be secret, wanting all information to be freely available. No Mr Murray... think. look beneath the surface and you'll see MOST practitioners will believe that Reiki symbols are SACRED not secret. They are treated with respect, and given at a degree level that is appropriate (when the practitioner understands and has experienced what the reiki energy is like, and how it feels and has practical knowledge at their disposal). They ARE publically on display in temples, so I do think he's right in saying everyone can reap benefits of them. However, many aren't trained HOW to use symbols in meditation and exercises to help in daily lives! They are respected though, and I don't believe they should be willy-nilly printed out in any book possible to claim instant enlightenment. I think Reiki needs to integrate into a life over time, and that is the role of a teacher. Even though Mr Murray believes 'buy my DVD and become a reiki master in a weekend', I'm sure.

So much of his main ideas and aims are based on a false understanding (or that is how I would believe it) of the deeper aspects of Reiki. Reading his books seem like reading a school childs. 'Mum and Dad were hiding this, so I thought that secret should be known to everyone! wait til you hear it, buy my book'. His ideas of Reiki being similar to any other healing practise is audacious at best, especially followed by 'reiki lineage isn't important'... what else defines Reiki now we've removed all of that?! It is a tradition as well as a practise and needs to be respected. It is a shame that Murray decided to do Reiki, he should have chosen spiritual healing if he believed in the things he has listed.

Readers of his beware, and question everything of his. Look into other sources, and listen to many other places. His books are a misguided reference and will spoil any Reiki book it is next to. Do yourselves favours and buy the wonderful "Reiki Sourcebook" by teh Stienes, and if you are serious about learning it, go to a teacher and see how you feel after a chat adn a cup of tea. I am a teacher and therapist in Reiki and I am over the moon with the fact that Stienes books are well researched and include nice footnotes so you can check everything.
Save the money, buy a better book.
