Book Reviews of Remember Me?Book Review: Not her best. Summary: 1 Stars
I was very sadden with the outcome of this book and how long it took her to get to the point. Not Sophie best. Read her other works.
Book Review: Not in the league of "Can you keep a secret" Summary: 3 Stars
I borrowed this book from library since I loved the "Undomestic Goddess" and "Can you keep a secret". "Can you keep a secret" is outright hilarious. I was expecting a book that would be as good as those two books. I was a bit dissapointed with this book. Even though this book would definitely hold your interest till the end and has quite a few funny sequences....the ending was not that good :-( There were times I felt real sorry for the heroine.
*SPOILER*
I could not feel convinced that a person can be so driven towards career that he/she could change their usual caring/loving personality into a hard/cruel (Exact opposite) individual in a span of 3yrs. Do people really do so much about turns in their adult life unless something extreme were to happen in their life? In this case, the events were not compelling enough to drive someone to such drastic extreme.
Book Review: One of the best Chick books I have ever read! Summary: 5 Stars
The main character Lexi Smart is lovable right from the beginning of the book. Kinsella does a great job keeping your attention. I read this book in 4 days (which is a record for me), because I could not put it down. I wanted to know what happened next. I definitely would recommend this book to anyone who likes chick lit!
Book Review: Perfect blend of mystery, suspense, laughter, and romance Summary: 5 Stars
The story draws you in within the first chapter as you join the life of the main character who has amnesia. You meet her husband whom she doesn't remember, her home where there is nothing of hers around, which starts you wondering if he really is her husband. Then his behavior makes you scared for her, as she tries to fit into his perfect mold. You cringe as you join her going back to the office, with her career, that as steps back into she realizes that things aren't as she thought she left them.
Her world is turned upside down, she is vunerable and doesn't know who to trust or whom to turn to. Every page endears you to the life she finds herself in.
A definite page turner that I couldn't put down and when I would have to, I couldn't wait to pick it back up again to see how things were playing out, whom she was starting to trust, had she learned the truth about her past, could she see through the haze, fix the past wrongs, could she put her life back together and be where she really belonged??
Book Review: Pleasant surprise Summary: 4 Stars
When I heard this was a book about amnesia, I thought 'Oh, no! Not again!'. But i was pleasantly surprised. Kinsella's narrative is engaging, I felt like I knew the characters, and found myself rooting for them. And she hasn't lost her touch where humor is concerned, either.
Perfect Christmas gift for anyone who loves a fun, light-hearted read!
