Book Review: Hmmm....
Summary: 3 Stars
Don't be fooled by the pretty cover art, even if it is extremely so. The art inside is evidently that of an american comic, the style points to that obviously. So if you like pretty art work? Then I'm afraid that this manga really isn't for you.
However, despite that I enjoyed the plot. No matter how much I enjoy a pretty manga, it has to have the beginnings of a good plot, and Return to Labyrinth just leaves you hanging at the end. I wanted more. Not more of the mediocre artwork, but more of the storyline. I want to know what happens to Toby now that he's Prince of the Goblins! So...all in all? Three stars. And most of that is for the storyline itself. Kouyu Shurei's cover art is gorgeous, but then again...her work always is.
I'd recommend this if you don't mind the art work, which, although impressive, is misleading from the cover art. It's a...bit of a let down, shall we say? But it's good none the less, just not what you'd expect. But if you love The Labyrinth, then I think that you may just like this manga.
