Book Reviews of Rich Dad, Poor Dad: What the Rich Teach Their Kids About Money--That the Poor and Middle Class Do Not!Book Review: Words of enormous enlightenment! Summary: 5 StarsRobert Kiyosaki through his insight has helped me to see the world a little differently. This book is a must read for anyone who has ever been even remotely disgruntled with their life in the "rat race." He is insightful, articulate and entertaining while provided clarity about why it is so hard for people to succeed in this world by adhering to the standard dogma. I am currently expecting my first child, and it is a relief to know that I will be able to raise my child as necessary to succeed in this new world instead of condemning him to the traditional rat race of corporate america. The world has moved on, but so few people have moved on with it. Anyone who reads this book will be armed with the information needed to move ahead and escape the traps of archaic philosophies in this new world. This books answers so many of the questions we all ask. It is a must read, a necessity for success.

Book Review: Basic and Simple. I now am confident I too can do it! Summary: 5 StarsI just want to thank the authors. "Keep it simple" is the message I got, along with the secrets. My parents ARE the "poor" parents in your book. I knew these beliefs were up side down. Now I know I am not wrong in thinking beyond "Keeping it safe". Thank you !!!!!
Book Review: What school never taught you about financial plans. Summary: 5 StarsIf you really want to know the way money works read this book. Robert's insight into how and why we let money control us or how we can control our own outcome in life is just enlightening. I have two teenagers who are already changing their perceptions of money. Awesome book, I am actually re-reading it for a third time to make sure my paradigms that keep changing absorb more of this teachings.
Book Review: This is a book which I will gladly recommend to friends. Summary: 5 StarsEver wondered what the terms of income statement, balance sheet and cash flow really mean when it comes to your personal wealth? And if you think you own a house, a car and a business and they are your assets, read this book. Then see if you still think so. "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" does not give you a list of instructions which you follow blindly. Instead, the author Robert T. Kiyosaki uses examples from daily life to illustrate concepts which challenge old ideas."Rich Dad, Poor Dad" was not prominently featured in my local bookshops and libraries nor strongly recommended in the local papers. The book came to my attention as the result of a friend casually asking if I would like to read a book about creating wealth. The reason she had to ask casually was because this is an unusual book, unorthodox even, but am I glad she asked. Apparently my colleague felt the same, for he is going to buy a copy for himself. Another colleague is going to borrow my copy. This book is not an end, but a beginning, and I think it qualifies as a book which will change you because it did for me.
