I've read lots of stories about Rich, and the ones in here just enhance my utter wonder of the man. His faith in God and his willingness to do anything to show the world Jesus give me a lot of strength, especially because I can identify so closely with him just in the fact that we have lived in the same era. I believe he is a man who has left a great legacy, and not because he tried, but because he just followed God. This is a book I will share with my friends, family and children probably for the rest of my life.Book Review: Read this book to understand the music

The real benefit of reading this book came days, weeks, and now even months later. At the time I first read it, I wasn't impressed with the writing style and felt like the book was disjointed and a little too preachy. Then I went back and started listening to the music again. I mean REALLY listening. Something began to change inside me as I began to have a different understanding of the words and music. I found myself going back and re-reading parts of the book. I'm blown away that Rich's ministry still goes on today...that God is still using him to speak to people like me. I'm glad I read this book.Book Review: An excellent biography

I purchased this book with something like fear, because I've been an R.M. fan forever--I practically invented him--and I didn't want some yutz biographer to screw it up. This book is something of a miracle. It's the bio/story of Rich Mullins that hollered to be written, and thank God James Smith wasn't deaf. To all R.M. fans...don't be afraid. This book is the one.
