Richard Misrach is one of the great American photographers and this is a beautiful book. The Golden Gate Bridge set within the larger panorama of the San Francisco Bay is photographed with a large format camera in a fixed position over and over again at different times of day and night and in an amazing array of different weather conditions. Astonishing.
