Book Review: Politicians and despots. What do we do with them?

I personally had never heard of the '44 rising. I knew there were a lot of Poles about after the war. I suppose I thought they were 'Jews'. Not that I knew much about them either, apart from the 'Warsaw Ghetto'. They were different that's all. But this book tells a terrible story of murder and ethnic cleansing at its worst. Are we any different to-day, I wonder? This book is so full of information that it does really require time and concentration. I do recommend reading it though. A pity an abridged version isn't available for everyone to read. A murderer yesterday, a friend to-day but what about to-morrow? Politicians and despots. Unelected EEC. Makes you think!
