River Secret's wasn't as good as Goose Girl or Enna Burning, but it was all right. I think it concentrated on romance a little too much. I might not have minded it so much if the author had written that part a little better. I think the book could have been shorter. The pace seemed slower. It wasn't written as tight as Enna Burning, which is a book I recommend.Book Review: River Secrets

Shannon Hale is the perfect author; her writing is funny, exciting, suspenseful, and original.
It is about Razo, a short member of Bayern's Own, who is trying to fit in during Bayern and Tiran peace negotiations. He is an endearing character who looks out for his friends. River Secrets is an excellent fantasy novel that is bound to become a classic.

River secrets was very good, about Razo, who you may remember if you read the other bayern books. This is still a good book, but i suggest you read the others first. Enna Burning is the best and The goose girl is also good, but river secrets is no where as good as those.
