Book Reviews of Room on the BroomBook Review: Love the book! Summary: 5 Stars
Just like The Gruffalo, the Gruffalo's Child and The Snail and the Whale books, this is a great one! My 4 and 2 year old girls love the story since it lends itself for being read outloud with sounds and different voices... They got a little scared with the dragon and the "monster" the first time we read it, but once they learned what the story was, they just can't wait for the bad guy to be scared away...
We love the colors and the drawings. Nice book!

This is a wonderful book that children can't help but enjoy. My son loved it and wanted to have it read repeatedly. The rhymes are excellent and the story really engages him.
Book Review: Love, love, love this book!! Summary: 5 Stars
This book is fun to read and my daughter loves the story. She has it memorized now but she still insists I read it over and over. This is one I don't get sick of! :) Buy it! You will not be sorry.
Book Review: Loved it! Summary: 5 Stars
My nephew LOVES to read. He is well read for 6. I send him all types of books and saw this one when I was searching for Halloween stories.
He absolutely loved it! He had to call me and read me some of it over the phone. I will be looking for more books from this author.

Book Review: Must Read For October... Summary: 5 Stars
My kids love the Halloween story, Room on The Broom. It is their favorite (ages 3 and 7). It is about a friendly witch that has a knack for losing things. Still she always finds what she has lost with a help from a friend. In return for finding what she has lost, the witch always lets the finder hop on for a ride on her broom. From a parents prospective, I love how this book teaches that acts of kindness only do you good. Towards the end of the story the witches broom breaks and she finds herself facing off with a Dragon. Luckily with the help of her friends she is saved from the Dragon. The witch then does a spell that makes a new broom... Her old broom was a junker and this broom is a Limo of Brooms.
From an educators point of view... this book is awesome: it has lots of rhyming and lots of repetition. It is a great story for retelling too. If you are a teacher be sure to google: "Room on the Broom Lessons" and "Room on the Broom Coloring" and "Room on the Broom Teaching Heart" for lessons and coloring sheets to match this story.
If you are a teacher or a parent you have room on your bookshelf for Room on the Broom! It is a must read for October. Great for ages 3 to 9.
