I've taken Philosophy classes before and I find that the curriculum that accompanies Roots of Wisdom to be rather dry. I don't think Mitchell's insight offers much. Philosophy isn't dull, but ROW doesn't make it exciting. The text is required, so I bought it. Usually I'd keep a book like this for the library, but I will more than likely sell this one back to the book store when the semester is over.
