Book Reviews of Rubyfruit JungleBook Review: Fantastic book, like GLTBQ literature should be Summary: 5 Stars
This book is wonderful and I'm a different person for reading it. You'll miss Molly Bolt once you've finished it. Can't say enough about this book, but I also can't articulate how much it affected me. Give it a shot, you won't regret it.
Book Review: Fun book to read, but lack of strong ending Summary: 4 Stars
This book was pretty good. I couldn't put it down after I read first few chapters. Molly's courage and struggle through her tough life simply melt my heart. It was quite inspiring. However, I didn't rate this book 5 stars because I thought the ending was pretty dull. Also I didn't like the idea of Molly's sleeping with her lover's daughter. That's sick! This is a brilliant book if only the ending wasn't so dull. It could have been so much better. Overall, it's a fun book to read.
Book Review: Fuuuuunnnnyyyy!!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I read this book years ago. It was so funny to me that I have never forgotten it. I want to read it again. I even went out and read several other Rita Mae Brown novels that were equally funny. Their Titles: Southern Discomfort, Six of One (and its sequal) However, I do not reccommend Venus Envy.
Book Review: Great Read Summary: 5 Stars
I picked this up at a book sale and it was excellent! It's engaging, funny, and beautiful-- I stayed up all night to finish it and suggested it to friends.
Book Review: Great Teen Read! Summary: 5 Stars
This helped me understand gayness from a new view.
