Book Reviews of Rumble Fish

Book Review: Disappointed
Summary: 2 Stars

I really liked the Outsiders but this book was not very good. It seemed liked it was rushed through the whole thing and I didnt feel a connection with any of the characters. I was halfway through the book and it seemed like nothing had happened except a fight and some walking around. At the end I was confused and disappointed. It seemed like it just cut short and I wanted to know what happened to Rusty.(I cant even remember the second part to his name and I just finished the book this morning, thats how unconnected it was)I would not recomend this book to anyone. The Outsiders was sooooo much better!

Book Review: EXCEPTIONAL!!!!
Summary: 4 Stars

S.E. Hinton doesn't disappoint us again! S.E. Hinton does an exceptional job in Rumble Fish. Rumble Fish is an outstanding story about teenager Rusty-James who truly wants to be like his big brother, th Motorcycle Boy. He thinks he is like him, but people tell him that he is not anything like the Motorcycle Boy. Rusty- james wants the Motorcycle Boys looks, cool, and his ability to laugh off danger. Rusty-James loves fights, and doesn't mind getting into them because he knows that his brother has his back. but his longing to be like the Motorcycle Boy has him in a bind at the end, but ends up making him a little bit more like his big brother.
S.E. Hinton does a phenomenal job writing Rumble Fish. The way she wrote it makes you feel like you are there experiencing what they are going through. Anyone who likes books about conflicts, family, and friends will really enjoy this book. Also, people who like reading realistic fiction books or other books by S.E. Hinton will also love this book as well!

Book Review: Even the toughest cats have feelings
Summary: 5 Stars

Rusty-James is a tough hood who has an even tougher brother. For a tough cat Rusty has a bad habbit of getting attached for things. Rusty misses gang rivelry. His brother says it will come back-if he lives that long. Just like her other books S.E.Hinton tells a tale of a boy living on the wrong side of the city, who aches for something better. Rusty has a friend exactly the opposit of him. Rusty could have been happy to see ol'Steave if he hadn't brought back all the memorys Rusty had tried so hard to forget. Another heroic story which makes young adults more informed about the world we live in.

Book Review: Excellecent VERY GOOD BOOK
Summary: 5 Stars

I really enjoyed this book its about a boy named Rusty James, hes not really that smart in school, but he does good job being the tough guy on the street. Though he is tough he doesn't know much about life. His brother on the other hand, who is somewhat crazy, knows much about life. It is only a matter of time before something happens that will change Rusty's life forever. This book was excellenct if i could give it 100 stars i would. GREAT BOOK READ Review: Good Book
