I read this in school as a class novel, and none of us could put it down! The book really explains what it was like growing up where gangs were all around you. Rumble Fish is a great book just like all of S.E. Hinton's books. I still don't understand the back cover but still a pretty good book. This is one of Hinton's shortest young adult book. all i have to say is that rumble fish was incredibly good. at first i was a bit skeptical because the outsiders, that was then this is now, and taming the star runner were okay but hadn't really caught my interest. rumble fish did though! the characters were easy to relate to and really spoke to the reader, the characters, as well as their situation, were very real and provacative. the book was all in all well-written!Book Review: RUMBLE FISH

Rumble Fish is the second book I have read by S.E. Hinton and it is very good. Just like all of her books, once you start reading it, you can't stop! If you liked the Outsiders or Tex, you'll love Rumble Fish! It's GREAT!
