Book Review: The title of the Strongest will belong to the Oniwabanshuu
Summary: 5 Stars

The first story is about an adversary from Kenshin's past making a return. His name is Jinei and he was a deadly Hitokiri just like Kenshin was. In this first story, Battousai reawakens and you will see he speaks differently from his Rurouni counterpart. Here, Kaoru is one of the only people of the Kenshin-gumi who witnesses Battousai in action.

The second story is where my favourite character arrives. Meet Shinomori Aoshi, the leader of the enigmatic clan known as Oniwabanshuu (Aoshi is the guy in the white trench coat). In this story, the Oniwanbanshuu are currently seen as "bodyguards" to an entrepreneur known as Takeda Kanryuu who is trying to sell opium. The person making the drug is a woman known as Takani Megumi, however it appears she is doing this task reluctantly and meets the Kenshin-gumi while trying to escape from Kanryuu's henchman. Megumi has her own secrets to why she is working for Kanryuu but then again the Oniwabanshuu are rather mysterious (and very interesting) people themselves. You learn more about Aoshi and his comrades in this story :)

The next story is fun because it focuses on Myoujin Yahiko. This young boy gets the chance to be heroic and improve in his skill of fighting by helping a girl named Tsubame, who becomes his friend and you could say is someone he fancies instantly.
