Book Review: DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK!!
Summary: 1 Stars

What has happened to James Patterson? He now consents to having his name plastered on books simply to make money I guess. What a waste. I used to buy his books simply because his name was on it. I won't make that mistake again. If there is a co-writer, I will no longer buy his books. The guy is destroying his good name just to make money, I really don't get it. This book looks like it was thrown together in about 6 hours by a high schooler. DO NOT Review: Disappointed
Summary: 2 Stars I've always enjoyed James Patterson's books. Very well constructed and stimulating. This book could not have been written by James Patterson. It was a trite story, poorly constructed and with chapter endings that reminded me of childhood movie serials where the hero gets into an impossible fix at the end of the chapter only to miraculously escape at the start of the next chapter.
Vintage Patterson is still a great read but not this.

Book Review: Disappointing
Summary: 1 Stars

This is the first book I've read by James Patterson and I'm disappointed. First, if you're going to write a book at least make it accurate. Right in the beginning Katherine thanks Peter for flying the family (2 adults and 3 kids) to the marina in a Cessna Skyhawk, a 4 seater airplane. Later on Peter wears a $6000 suit but probably can't afford voice mail since the maid hears a message on the home answering machine. A doctor and a lawyer in Manhattan with an answering machine! I thought I was going to read something by a seasoned author. This is just a foolish, unbelievable tale. I didn't even finish it.

Book Review: Disappointing
Summary: 1 Stars

I have read many a Patterson and Patterson shared-written books and this one left me disappointed. Not even close to believeable, this story just amazes with impossibilities and were it not such sad reading, one could almost laugh at the twists. Sorry...not a good one.

Book Review: Do we really need another James Patterson written with XXXXX?
Summary: 3 Stars

I enjoy James Patterson and I enjoyed the book. However, it was so minimal in the writing I felt like it was unfinished. I love exotic settings and fleshed out characters. I like to sink into a story and live it until it was done.

I feel that if James Patterson's name wasn't on it, he'd have a hard time finding a publisher.
