Book Reviews of Sailor Moon, Vol. 2

Book Review: Kewl
Summary: 4 Stars

I think it's great that Mixxzine is translating the mangas, however i doubt that they're totally accurate. My main objection is that some of the fonts are weird and hard to read, and it's stupid that they wrote the sound effects in.

Book Review: Manga is much more detailed than Anime
Summary: 5 Stars

I have read this book as well as translated pieces of much of the Japanese manga. I love it, and though I was weary of this, Mixx did stay fairly close to the original in translating. The manga is much more detailed than the anime when describing relationships (Usagi/Bunny and Mamoru/Darien, and later Michiru (Neptune)and Haruka (Uranus). I have a suggestion though, which I will try to bring to the attention of Mixx. I'm not very familiar with their manga, but do they have SailormoonS and up done? I think it would be a good idea (if they do have it done)that they market that for the dedicated DiC fans that can't see the awesomest characters that appear in the later series. Well, that's it, ja ne minna!

Book Review: Manga is so great!
Summary: 5 Stars

I really love that the manga of Sailor Moon is being published in the U.S. It's so much more romantic than the anime. I was hesitant at first because the books cost so much, but now I don't mind becuase they're really worth the money. If you like Sailor Moon, you really have to read these!

Book Review: Manga is so much better than the anime!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have book one, and I conviced my mom to buy me this book. It's so much better than the anime, the drawings are really beautiful. I can't wait for Mixx to translate the rest to English! Arigato! ~Heather

Book Review: Moon Prism Power
Summary: 5 Stars

This manga is totally awesome! I recommend the whole series! In this volume, you find out a little about Bunny and the Scouts' past lives! But volume 3 tells a lot more so it's best to buy them together so you aren't left hanging. It has absolutely GORGEOUS artwork (cooler and way more detailed than the anime)! If you love manga BUY THIS BOOK! Although you should get book 1 first so you don't get confused.
